Horizontal Profile at 150 to 200 m below Ground showing the Resistivity Distribution based on Transient Electromagnectic Soundings

Horizontal profile at 150 to 200 m below ground showing the resistivity distribution based on transient electromagnectic soundingsThe green color indicates resistivities (> 20 Ωm) which in freshwater environments usually represent sandy deposits. The yellow to red color suite represents either deposits with elevated clay contents or sandy deposits with brackish groundwater. It was assumed that the blue colors reflect the graben shoulders. The graben area (red line) was established based on satellite image interpretation and fits nearly with the graben area reflected by the transient electromagnetic sounding interpretation.
